Welcome from the Pastor

Welcome to our website! I am Pastor Scott, and I have been serving as the pastor here at First Baptist Church of Page since August of 2012. My personal vision statement: “To lead people to have intense and increasing passion for Jesus Christ.” I have two life verses: Philippians 1:21, For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain,” and John 3:30, “He must increase but I Must decrease.” The purpose statement of our church: “Glorifying our great God. Living the Great Commandment, Fulfilling the Great Commission.” I have two passions in my ministry here at FBC of Page: I am passionate about communicating the word of God by expository preaching.  My other passion in ministry is one-on-one discipleship of men. Whatever I do as a pastor, I want to point people to Christ and the word of God. I would love to have a conversation with you if you have any thoughts or questions for me as the pastor, or concerning First Baptist Church.
